Data processing on this website

Reederei Riedel GmbH gathers information sent to us through your browser, in our Server Log Files. These consist of the following:

  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP Address)
  • Date and time of the server request
  • Name of the accessed website
  • Transferred data amount

The provided information is not assignable to a distinct person. A unification of data with other data sources will not occur. The protocol data will only be used for the industry’s statistical evaluation, security, and optimization of marketing and will be deleted afterwards. Handling personal data

Comments and contributions to SpreeDaily and similar social media channels

If users post comments on SpreeDaily’s website, their IP address will be saved. This ensure the provider’s safety, in case a user were to post comments or contributions of unlawful nature (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In that case, Reederei Riedel GmbH could face consequences, and is therefore interested in the user’s information. Integration of services and third party contents It could happen, that within our online offer, third party contents are to be found (for instance YouTube videos, Google-maps images, RSS-feeds or images from other websites). This always means that providers of such content (later referred to as “third-providers”) are aware of the users’ IP Addresses. This is because without their IP addresses, these providers could not send those contents to the corresponding users. Thus, the IP address is necessary for the presentation of such content. We are making an effort to only use contents, whose providers utilize the IP addresses solely for the purpose of displaying said contents. However, we do not possess any influence over whether or not the third-providers utilize the IP addresses for other purposes (for statistical evaluation for instance). As far as we are made aware of such circumstances, we will be sure to inform the users.

Use of Google Analytics

Our website utilizes Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). For this web analysis, Google Analytics uses so-called „Cookies“, which are text files, that are saved onto your computer and serve as a tool for surveying the use of a website through you. The information gathered by Cookies through the use of our website, are then sent to Google’s server in the USA and are stored there. If an anonymous IP address visits our website, Google will store their abbreviated IP address only within the EU and other associated contract-states.
